-=sting3r=- a.k.a. "Mr. Anderson" |
| Wow wassup peeps...this dc group was just an inkling of an idea on a plane back from vegas after Defcon15 and BlackHat07. I had made quite a few contacts over the years and kind of worked solo on some stuff but thought it was about time I got out of the back seat and became more active...better yet proactive. Hopefully this group will grow and we can all learn a thing or 2 and pass it on. Hacking is about the sharing and free flow of information. Shoutz to madhatter(dc214.org) and rsnake(hackers.org)!

| Bio: web application security, browser security and finding new vulnerabilities in anything that touches the web. |

| I'm the founder of the parody H4xorcrew, infamous in their goal of
finding the most insigificant
vulnerabilities and then publizing them with shout-outz usually longer than the
content of the advisory. I have been involved in security for 10 years, and I'm
also the co-founder nCircle network security. In an industry dominated by
vanity and hype I try and do real research that benefits the community.
I have spoken at Defcon/Blackhat and over 200 major securty conferences
and events in the last 3 years, including RSA and CSI, you name it.
My hat is white. I am also the co-founder of the ORB Group:

W.K.Duku |
| There are numbers, crunching away ideas as algorithms, within machines
that Duku attempts to focus on. Making and breaking security for the
sake of information has been his area, for quite some time. By joining
DC972 he hopes to contribute (for the better) to this newly formed
group.

| I'm a long-time member of the EFF, a staunch supporter of copyright
reform and keeping information as free as can be. My free time is taken
up by tormenting my fiance, my dogs and being a rabid Arsenal fan. I'm
a web developer by trade, curious by nature and am always willing to
learn/try new things. My current station in life finds me not only
working with the web, but also acting as something of a junior linux
admin to mix3r (I couldn't hope for a better mentor-of-sorts). Crooked
Minds. Crooked Minds. |

| I like to break things. If you are lucky I might put them back together. I am currently involved with exploit research, grey hat security tool development (mainly in python), and always trying to find new ways to bend the laws that govern our machines. I am currently working with sting3r on multiple projects; two of which were ideas that came to us both after attending a dc214 meeting so you can expect to see me around quite a bit for, if nothing else, the brainstorming that goes on at (and after) these meetings. There is nothing cooler than a group with your same interests to learn from. |

| I work for a public accounting firm specializing in IT Security engagements and security consulting work. I enjoy breaking things, finding new ways to break old things, finding new ways to break new things, and helping people design and fix things so they don’t get broken so often. I moved to the Dallas area in January of 2007, so am still pretty new to the area. I’m of course looking forward to working with the local crowd to brainstorm new ways to take over the world.

My name is Mix3r, I am a Linux systems admin by day
I am into WiFi hacking, and trying to learn as much as possible. I script in PERL and BASH and like to make my job easier that way.

| I work on systems that record telephone calls by tapping into T1 Circuits and taking data from switches… I am always interested in expanding my horizons and look forward to being a part of dc972. Much respect to sting3r for his leadership and efforts. |

| I'm a senior consultant right now performing security assessments and leading pci remediation projects.I've held the usual suspect positions - infosec admin, senior network admin, biz analyst, tech project mgr, etc.My career goes back to the Apple //e days with an Applecat 300 baud half-duplex modem - hacking cat-fur boards. |
